What is it?
A talented group of young people have formed the Hammersmith and Fulham Young People’s Development Group.
As the Youth Zone is two years away from opening, young people will get the opportunity to become involved in many aspects of its development including recruitment, fundraising events, interior design as well as the general development of the building site.
The group has already successfully branded the Youth Zone, WEST, and are now looking forward to being a key part of its early life.

What's involved?
The group has already successfully branded the Youth Zone, WEST, and are now looking forward to being a key part of its early life.
They’ve visited existing Youth Zones in the North West and London to get an idea of what it would be like once theirs is complete and will get even more in the coming months ahead of the opening. There’ll also be the chance to support with the Youth Zone’s interior design and staff recruitment.
Brandy said: “We meet up every week and talk about Youth Zones as well as presenting to other groups in the local area and going on residentials.”
