An exciting opportunity has now arisen for an experienced corporate and community fundraiser with a proven track record of securing funds via community and corporate fundraising, to set up a new Community programme at WEST Youth Zone. Reporting to Head of Fundraising and Communications, you’ll play a crucial role in raising funds for WEST by engaging with SME’s and the local community. This role involves developing and implementing fundraising campaigns, cultivating relationships with potential donors, supporting staff fundraising initiatives and coordinating fundraising events. You will collaborate with various stakeholders and build long-term partnerships that contribute to the sustainability and growth of WEST.

As a member of WEST’s Sports Team you will be key in ensuring young people have access to an exciting gym programme that will be challenging, stimulating, fun, engaging and developmental.
You will be involved in facilitating taster sessions, competitions and challenges, which promotes engagement, skills and fitness levels.
You will hold a relevant qualification (personal training Level 2).

Female Personal Trainer

Hours: Minimum 3.5 hours /week

We are looking for Female Personal Trainer/Youth Worker. To join in our Just for Girls programe which will engage young people aged 8 – 18 years (up to 25 for those with additional needs). The sports offer at WEST Youth Zone is wide ranging and as a member of the Sports Team, you will be key in ensuring young people have access to an exciting and engaging gym program that will be challenging, stimulating, fun, engaging and developmental. You will be involved in teaching the fundamentals of the sport to young people, as well as facilitating taster sessions, competitions and challenges which build young people’s engagement, skills, and fitness levels. You will coach and develop teams and support volunteers within the Sports Team. Ideally, you will have experience of coaching young people, and a relevant qualification in PT (Level 2).

The Cleaning Assistant will work with the Facilities Manager in the delivery of a common, efficient, and cost-effective cleaning service at WEST, Hammersmith and Fulham Youth Zone. The role holder will provide a high standard of cleaning services throughout the Youth Zone. As a crucial member of the team, you will contribute to ensuring that a great first impression is always given to young people, parents and visitors and that all areas of the Youth Zone are safe and clean. Open 7 days a week including school holidays, WEST Youth Zone’s purpose is to help young people grow to be happy, healthy and successful adults. The state-of-the-art building provides young people with a range of activities, giving young people the opportunity to try new things, meet new friends and gain support from friendly, warm and positive staff and volunteers. Facilities include a kick pitch, climbing wall, gym, sports hall and recreation area, and dance, arts, music and media suites.
