Inclusion Coordinator
Job Title Inclusion Coordinator
Hours: Permanent, Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (inc. evenings and weekends)
Salary: £27,500
Location: WEST Youth Zone
Our Inclusion Coordinator will design and deliver creative arts activities for young people, overseeing the programmes for the Sensory Room and Duty Management of our Sunday Beyond Session. As well as this, they will provide line management support, coaching and development for arts sessional workers in their areas. This role requires a minimum of 55% of working hours spent face to face with young people.
Communications & Video Assistant

Hours: 14 hours per week

WEST Youth Zone offers a wide range of activities to young people including sports, arts and mental-health support which is coordinated by our talented and dedicated Youth Workers. One of the tasks of our communications team is to share and promote these opportunities and their results to young people and community in the local area. The aim would be to increase membership, youth zone visits and brand awareness. This role will report into the Marketing and Communications Coordinator.

As a member of WEST’s Sports Team you will be key in ensuring young people have access to an exciting gym programme that will be challenging, stimulating, fun, engaging and developmental.
You will be involved in facilitating taster sessions, competitions and challenges, which promotes engagement, skills and fitness levels.
You will hold a relevant qualification (personal training Level 2).

Female Personal Trainer

We are looking for Female Personal Trainer/Youth Worker. To join in our Just for Girls programe which will engage young people aged 8 – 18 years (up to 25 for those with additional needs). The sports offer at WEST Youth Zone is wide ranging and as a member of the Sports Team, you will be key in ensuring young people have access to an exciting and engaging gym program that will be challenging, stimulating, fun, engaging and developmental. You will be involved in teaching the fundamentals of the sport to young people, as well as facilitating taster sessions, competitions and challenges which build young people’s engagement, skills, and fitness levels. You will coach and develop teams and support volunteers within the Sports Team. Ideally, you will have experience of coaching young people, and a relevant qualification in PT (Level 2).
Weekend Cleaning Assistant

Hours: Part-time: 6hrs (8-11am Saturday and Sunday)

The Cleaning Assistant will work with the Facilities Manager in the delivery of a common, efficient, and cost-effective cleaning service at WEST, Hammersmith and Fulham Youth Zone. The role holder will provide a high standard of cleaning services throughout the Youth Zone. As a crucial member of the team, you will contribute to ensuring that a great first impression is always given to young people, parents and visitors and that all areas of the Youth Zone are safe and clean. Open 7 days a week including school holidays, WEST Youth Zone’s purpose is to help young people grow to be happy, healthy and successful adults. The state-of-the-art building provides young people with a range of activities, giving young people the opportunity to try new things, meet new friends and gain support from friendly, warm and positive staff and volunteers. Facilities include a kick pitch, climbing wall, gym, sports hall and recreation area, and dance, arts, music and media suites.
