Our Club Managers are crucial members of our delivery team, responsible for an exciting programme of activities for their given area. As Health & Wellness Coordinator, you will work across all Youth Zone sessions and have lead responsibility for:
Management of our Health & Wellbeing Room (Salon)
Management of our Training Kitchen
Management of up to 10 part time Youth workers across both spaces

Female Engagement Coordinator
Job Title Female Engagement Coordinator

Our Female Engagement Coordinator will lead on our Just for Girls session on Sunday afternoons, designing an engaging programme of activities alongside staff and young people. They will also work to engage girls and young women in all other sessions offered by WEST, ensuring the sessions are relevant and fun. They wil provide some line management support and development for sessional workers in these areas. This role requires a minimum of 55% of time spent face-to-face working with young people.
Business Support Officer

Hours: 37.5 hours per week or 0.8 FTE (30 hours) per week
Salary: £34,000 - £38,000

Our Business Support Officer will be responsible for providing essential administrative support to the key senior managers and volunteers. The successful candidate will be an effective communicator, well organised and be proficient in a range of IT systems including CRMs or databases in order to produce information for use in a range of reports and other documents.

The Youth Zone’s Employability offer ensuring all young people have access to exciting projects and the opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge to improve their employability. In addition you will run targeted programmes for specific groups of young people who are at particular risk of not being in employment, education, or training.

Our Club Managers are crucial members of our delivery team, responsible for an exciting programme of activities for their given area. As Senior Club Manager, you will work across all Youth Zone sessions and have lead responsibility for: Sessions for 13 – 19 year olds and up to 25 with those with disabilities. Senior club takes place Wednesday – Saturday evenings.

As a member of the Arts Team, you will be key in ensuring young people have access to an exciting and creative arts programme that will be challenging, stimulating, fun, engaging and developmental. You might be experienced in:
– Musical Theatre inc. Dance, Drama, Singing and Performing Yoga, Stretching, Fitness, Step, Zumba or Gymnastics
– Devising and choreographing
– Any style of dance and performance art including but not limited to Bhangra, Ballet, Ballroom, Jazz, Tap, Acro, Modern, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Street, Musical Theatre, Irish Dancing, Improv, Samba, Bachata, Salsa, Rumba, Reggaeton, Breaking, K-Pop, Lyrical (you don’t have to be proficient in every type of dance!)

You will be involved in facilitating taster sessions, competitions and challenges, which promotes engagement, skills and fitness levels.
You will hold a relevant qualification (personal training Level 2).

Female Personal Trainer

We are looking for Female Personal Trainer/Youth Worker. To join in our Just for Girls programe which will engage young people aged 8 – 18 years (up to 25 for those with additional needs). The sports offer at WEST Youth Zone is wide ranging and as a member of the Sports Team, you will be key in ensuring young people have access to an exciting and engaging gym program that will be challenging, stimulating, fun, engaging and developmental. You will be involved in teaching the fundamentals of the sport to young people, as well as facilitating taster sessions, competitions and challenges which build young people’s engagement, skills, and fitness levels. You will coach and develop teams and support volunteers within the Sports Team. Ideally, you will have experience of coaching young people, and a relevant qualification in PT (Level 2).
