Female Engagement Coordinator

Our Female Engagement Coordinator will lead on our Just for Girls session on Sunday afternoons, designing an engaging programme of activities alongside staff and young people aged 10 -17 years old. They will also work to engage girls and young women in all other sessions offered by WEST, ensuring the sessions are relevant and fun. They will provide some line management support and development for sessional workers in these areas. This role requires a minimum of 55% of time spent face-to-face working with young people.

Fundraising Officer

This is an exciting new post in a growing charity, working alongside the Fundraising and Communications Team to support WEST Youth Zone. Our Fundraising Officer will be responsible for providing essential administrative support to the Head of Fundraising & Communications and wider fundraising team. WEST Youth Zone is founded on support from high value donors and you will support the team to engage this group of stakeholders.

As part of a fundraising and communications team of 5, you’ll report to our Head of Fundraising & Communications. You will support with writing grant applications and funder reports, and be accountable for day-to-day funder administration and correspondence. Some of the key duties for this role include thanking Patrons, supporting WEST events and researching prospective donors and new opportunities for funding.

Performing Arts Youth Worker

As a member of the Arts Team, you will be key in ensuring young people have access to an exciting and creative arts programme that will be challenging, stimulating, fun, engaging and developmental. You’ll have experience in one or more of the following: 

  • Musical Theatre inc. Dance, Drama, Singing and Performing
  • Yoga, Stretching, Fitness, Step, Zumba or Gymnastics
  • Devising and choreographing
  • Any style of dance and performance art including but not limited to Bhangra, Ballet, Ballroom, Jazz, Tap, Acro, Modern, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Street, Musical Theatre, Irish Dancing, Improv, Samba, Bachata, Salsa, Rumba, Reggaeton, Breaking, K-Pop, Lyrical

Inclusion Youth Worker

Alongside providing support and care to children and young people with special educational
needs (SEN) and disabilities, SEN/D Youth Worker also help with the children’s engagement
in WEST’s Arts, Sports, Wellbeing, and Lifeskill focused activities.
