This year, WEST Youth Zone proudly opened its doors to the community for three special Iftar evenings, held on the 26th of February, 5th of March, and 12th of March. Across these meaningful nights, we welcomed families, young people, and community members to come together during Ramadan to share delicious food, reflection, and connection.

Each evening was a powerful reminder of the importance of community. As the sun set, guests gathered in The WEST Arena (our sports hall) to break their fast side by side, creating an atmosphere of togetherness. The attendees were guided in prayer by the Imam, offering a space for spiritual connection with local people of all ages.
A huge part of what made these evenings so special was the incredible effort behind the scenes. BiteCity Café, our in-house kitchen, played a central role in bringing everyone together, serving over 1,000 meals across the three evenings. Charlene, our Catering Manager, and her team lovingly made and served delicious, nourishing dishes such as BBQ honey roasted chicken, curried chickpeas and peppered steak.
A special thank you goes to our incredible youth workers for their support throughout the evenings, as well as to Nuro, our receptionist, Kamal, our Sports Coordinator, and Nesar, our Senior Club Manager, whose hard work and commitment helped make each Iftar night run smoothly and feel so welcoming for everyone involved.
A huge thank you also goes to the team from Harrods, who volunteered their time across the evenings to help set up the events and serve hot meals, providing a warm and friendly presence. As a valued patron of WEST Youth Zone, their continued financial support, and additional donations towards our open Iftars, helps us to keep delivering vital services and opportunities for local young people.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us, supported the events, and helped make these evenings so memorable. WEST Youth Zone remains committed to creating inclusive spaces where all members of our community can come together, celebrate, and feel a sense of belonging.
As we continue through this special time, we wish everyone peace, joy, and blessings. Eid Mubarak from all of us at WEST Youth Zone!
